Ceredigion has 23 geographically validated reports across 1905 to 2022. Its record is long and even, from inland market towns to the Cardigan Bay coast.
Ceredigion’s record opens in March 1905 with a Tregaron account of a ball of fire. This is a later historical retelling: the original contemporary source has not been recovered, and the report is best read as an early historical note rather than modern evidence.
In 1985, a “glowing yellow humanoid” was reported at Aberystwyth. The word “humanoid” is later researcher terminology, not verified witness wording — the underlying report is a glowing yellow figure or light.
Scattered Cardigan Bay sea reports (2010, 2022) sit alongside the inland record. They are individual reports, not a formal USO wave.
